They could also give you feedback and give you the pros and cons of your work, this allows you to generate the best idea of all of them you have.

This helps the artist pick what technique will be best for them so they have the best impact to express themselves and make people like their work. It also helps them decide what idea is best for them to do. With their being a lot of people in group activities this gives them a lot of feedback and a lot of viewpoints what is good.
