Animal Love Fun

We are making stuff animals for the sick in the hospital.

Please stop by and see the ones that they have finished. The kids

are having fun and it’s all by hand and made with loves!

What You Need: 1 pound of lean hamburger1 celery stalk, 1 small onion,1 small carrotPinch of saltDash of pepperMedium sauté pan1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese½ cup Bisquick1 cup milk2 eggs

What You Do: 1. 1. Help your child wash and chop the celery and carrot into small chunks along with the

onion. Using a chef’s knife is an essential kitchen skill, but should be supervised by an adult!2. 2. Now he can add the carrot, celery, onion, and lean hamburger into a medium sized sauté

pan and simmer over medium heat.3. 3. Once the meat has started to brown, invite your child to add the salt and pepper. Give

everything another stir, and then remove from the heat.4. 4. In another bowl, your child can begin mixing the Bisquick, eggs, and milk whisking until

everything is nice and smooth.
