a unique zero-category cultural monu-ment, built in the 16th century during the Venetian administration as a warehou-se for the military fleet. This special spa-ce was expanded and upgraded in 1752 under the rule of Jeronim Marija Balbi, as testified by a plaque with an engraved inscription on the front of the building.

Long-standing experience, individual dedication to each client and fo-cus on even the smallest of details are just a brief confirmation that you can expect a fairy tale wedding.

As a multifunctional space on 1800 m2, Arsenal consists of a dance floor and a gallery on the upper floor, which provides endless possibilities for wedding receptions. We can fit 50 to 300 people on the dancing part, and as many as 550 people in both parts.

and answers to important things How much sooner is it necessary to book the date?The wedding can be ordered as late as 10 days before if the date is avail-able, but considering that the reservations are usually done the year be-fore, it is advisable to hurry up with the confirmation of the wanted date.How to secure your reservation?After the verbal confirmation of the date, the client pays an advance of EUR 1,500.00 (payable in two instalments 40 days apart), which officially confirms the date.Can the booked date be changed?In case of a need for changing the date, the client is given a new date at disposal if it is available, with no special fee (which also includes moving the date to the next year).What if the reservation is cancelled?If the wedding is completely cancelled, we keep the paid advance as a fee for the unused date.What is our warranty that the service would be performed as agreed?The client receives a Schedule of Details from Arsenal – a written form of all agreed items of the wedding reception, which is the official record of the ordered service and all organisational items.Can we bring our own spirits?We have prepared beverage packages for you at excellent prices so you would not have to be burdened with the purchase and delivery of spirits!!What is the price for children?We do not charge the service for children of up to 7 years of age, while 50% of the amount of the total price is paid for children aged 7-11.

What are the additional discounts and conveniences we have Arsenal’s clients?Clients who have their wedding at Arsenal have a right to an additional discount of 10% on the service Banquet before the Wedding at Arsenal’s Gallery, the service of food and beverages. When is the payment made?The payment is made 2 days after the wedding, to the transfer account of Ilirija d.d., with the deduction of the previously paid advance.Can we bring our own cakes?The client is allowed to bring the wedding cake or additional pastries only for a pastry shop which applies the HAACCP standards.Can we make corrections to the menu?You can additionally order: vegetarian menu, vegan menu, fish menu, gluten-free menu. A replacement for the main course can be a beef-steak with side dishes, roasted veal or another dish that is agreed. Can we bring our own wine?If the client wants to bring their own wines instead of the offered ones (al-though all wanted wines can be ordered through Arsenal – with or with-out an additional payment, depending on the purchasing price), they do not have the right to an additional discount on the regular price.Can we taste the dishes from Arsenal’s kitchen?The client can order the menu tasting with a certain compensation for it.What is the capacity of the round tables?The client is provided with a sketch of the schedule to enter the number of persons on each of the tables. The table capacity is 8 to 10 seats. All guests, including the small children, are counted for seats.

Are there rules for selecting the music programme?Performing music categorised as “Turbofolk” is not allowed in Arsenal’s premises. The client is obligated to notify the band about this in ad-vance. Bands are obligated to respect the legal provisions about the limitation of noise and, pursuant to this, are connected to the noise limitation device set up at Arsenal.When is the usual time of arrival to the reception? The client may start their reception at the time appropriate for them. What is the final time for ending the reception?The reception may last no later than 4:00 a.m., while the live music can last until 3:30 a.m.
