SAINT PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH JANUARY 15 & 16, 2022 2

From the desk of Fr. Sudhakar… St. Meinrad weekend at St. Peter on 22 and 23 of this month: For many years, the Diocese of Evansville has benefited from the ministry of those formed at Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Seminary and School of Theology. Next weekend, Father Simon Herrmann, OSB Director of Young Adult Engagement, will be coming to Celebrate Mass at our parish and he will share more about their mission and all the great things that they are doing at Saint Meinrad.

In our diocese, 47 active and retired priests, 49 permanent deacons, and 335 lay ministers attend-ed Saint Meinrad. In addition, countless high school students were formed in faith and prepared for liturgical ministry through Saint Meinrad’s “One Bread, One Cup” program.

After this weekend, Archabbot Kurt Stasiak, OSB, will send a letter asking for your financial sup-port to continue their efforts. Please consider partnering in their work. As always, please contin-ue to pray more vocations to the priesthood, permanent diaconate, vowed religious life, and lay ministry.

To learn more about Saint Meinrad and to submit prayer requests, text “Prayer” to 800-682-0988

or visit www.saintmeinrad.edu/prayer.
