wegreenlight pitch deck
DESCRIPTION
WeGreenlight crowdsources idea development from potential consumers, so creators can "build an idea by building a following". WeGreenlight’s potential consumers “greenlight” the ideas that they want to see made. This helps creators (entertainers, designers, engineers, entreprenuers, etc.) validate their concepts with the wisdom of the crowd and helps them avoid investing time, energy and money into ideas that have no market. Our process does more than just provide validation and feedback, as the potential consumers that greenlight the ideas are also the early adopters who will ultimately be the first to view, get and/or fund the final products of the ideas. This process helps build consumer engagement from inception rather than at the end of the development cycle, greatly reducing the risk of developing your product and increasing the success of your product launch.TRANSCRIPT

What is WeGreenlight?
“Product Hunt” for developing ideas
What is WeGreenlight?
Crowdsource idea development from potential consumers to "build an idea by building a following” WeGreenlight’s users “greenlight” ideas that they want to see made, and they can view, buy, and fund the final products of these ideas
WeGreenlight helps creators (entertainers, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, etc.) validate their concepts and
build an awaiting fanbase before their product launches
The Current Problem
Sources: Research Management by C. Merles Crawford, The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, The Verge
• 90% of all new businesses fail
• 80% of all new television series fail
• Over 50% of new product launches fail
• 56% - 90% of Crowdfunding campaigns fail
Each of us have failed in the past launching our own startups, crowdfunding, and entertainment. No matter how we failed, we all found ourselves wondering why nobody wanted what we made.
If only we could create products that we already knew people wanted…
WeGreenlight’s Competitors Competitors show crowdsourcing
can improve developing ideas:
• Video Games (Steam Greenlight) • Customer Feedback (Betterific) • Movies (FilmBreak) • Toys (Lego Ideas) • Government (Mind Mixer) • Electronics (Quirky)
But so far their attempts treat this process more as a limited contest rather than realizing it’s full potential
as the next generation of commerce
WeGreenlight’s Advantages
Users are capped on the number of “greenlights” they can give, so they
must be selective to unlock exclusive
products that they really want
WeGreenlight engages consumers more into supporting ideas they want while being selective
WeGreenlight’s Advantages
• Get to know who your likely consumers are
• Get direct consumer feedback by messaging your greenlighters and seeing their suggestions
Our real-time analytics show you more than just how many people like your idea
• Use this data to tailor the perfect product
WeGreenlight’s Advantages
1. When creators post a product they link it to the idea it’s based on
2. This simple process automatically notifies greenlighters that they can view, buy, or fund the final products they greenlit
WeGreenlight gives creators control as they develop their products and launch to awaiting fans for free
