Video Tab | DISPLAY LIVE VIDEO TILES

You have the ability to view multiple live videos within one screen.

1 Switch the view from one camera to multiple cameras2 Toggle between different cameras by dragging the thumbnail into the view pane

1 Allows for digital zoom2 Picture-in-Picture window allows you to focus on a specific portion of video display while zoomed in

Video Tab | DATE/TIME PLAYBACK

You can input a specific date and time to view recorded video for up to 30 days.

1 Drag the timeline bar forwards and backwards to locate recorded video 2 Click the calendar icon to go to a specific date/time

You can easily switch between live and recorded playback.

1 Clicking the arrow converts video back to live view

1 Click the “Bookmark” icon to tag specific events in a video

6 7Download VideosInvestigate and Vault Tabs

Investigate TabThis tab houses all of your bookmarked video clips. Bookmarks are saved for 30 days.

1 Click on a bookmarked video clip and it will play on this screen – click on the camera icon that appears on a highlighted clip, and it will play in the normal playback window

Vault TabThe Vault stores your selected video clips until they are manually deleted. All Vault videos may be downloaded to your local desktop.

Note: The Vault allows up to 1 GB of storage on the subscriber portal. There is no limit to the number of customer downloads.

Download Video to Desktop

1 Select the bookmarked video you want to export and click the “Download” icon

2 Select the length of time before and after the bookmarked time that you wish to save, then select Save – this places a copy of the video clip in the Vault

Administrative Functions

1 View camera configurations Note: These can only be modified by a technician.2 Add up to 4 additional users to your account (e.g., managers on site)3 As part of the installation process, the technician will configure your account so that Comcast does not have access to your video

Preferences and HelpFrom the Preferences screen, you can change your name, email and other contact information, and choose to receive email updates.

The Help screen shows a list of FAQ solutions for your quick reference.1

Mobile App OverviewEnjoy the ease of monitoring your business anytime, anywhere with the Comcast Business SmartOffice Mobile App. You can download the app for your mobile devices by visiting the Apple or Android stores and entering “Comcast Business SmartOffice” in the search field.

Two new funtions have been added to the lastest version of the Comcast Business SmartOffice Mobile App, to enhance its convenience and ease of use: Pinch to Zoom, and Picture in Picture. Both of these features are available through the latest app update (iOS: v2.2.103 and Android: v 2.1.2.39), which you can access through the Apple or Andriod stores.

Pinch to Zoom

1 To activate Pinch to Zoom, first tap the magnifying glass icon in the lower right hand corner2 You can then “pinch” the screen, and 3 Drag your fingers apart to zoom in or out, as well as use one finger to move around within the thumbnail

This feature can be useful for focusing on a specific part of a scene or seeing more detail.

Picture in PictureUsing Picture in Picture, you can investigate an incident that was previously recorded while still monitoring the camera in live mode. The button will only appear when recorded video is being played, so the section to be reviewed must be selected first.

1 Tap the button showing the box in box image2 You will then see a smaller tile that will play back the camera’s feed in live mode; this box can be moved anywhere on the device’s screen

This feature is useful for investigating objects that may have been removed from the scene.
