You get a statement of attainment for the units you complete. You get a nationally recognised VET certificate. You get a study score which is reported on your VCE or VCAL statement of results. You do not get a study score or contribution towards your ATAR. You get credit towards your VCE or VCAL at all levels. If you are a VCE student, your study score may contribute towards your ATAR. Notes If the scaled study score you receive for your VET is one of your three highest permissible (not including your highest score in either English, English EAL, English Language or Literature), it may contribute towards your ATAR as one of your primary four studies. If the scaled study score you receive for your VET is either your fifth or sixth highest permissible, it may contribute towards your ATAR as a fifth or sixth study increment, calculated using 10% of that study score. Increments for an additional non-scored Units 3 and 4 sequence from a scored VCE VET program are calculated using 10% of the lowest study score from the primary four. A maximum of two increments may contribute towards your ATAR. There are restrictions on some study area groupings when calculating the ATAR.
