GED 2014: What is the GED? The 2014 GED test is a four-subject high school equivalency test that

measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers

The 2014 GED has four content subjects. They are Science (90 min.) Social Studies (90 min.) Mathematical Reasoning (90 min.) Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 min. include break)

After you pass the GED test, your diploma or credential will be issued by your state but you’ll receive a GED transcript to apply to college, start training, or get a better job

The new GED test is only offered through a computer based testing format

Students will need to be able to understand longer passages (400-900 words), read faster, and scan for important information.
