communicate and prevent future world wars (United Nations today)

2)We failed to rebuild Germany/Europe to prevent rise of Hitler and repeat of world conflict.

• Democracy vs. Monarchy • Some of the worlds’ most powerful

nations were still ruled by monarchs through the 1930s.

• Monarchs are never wrong!!! Royalty are chosen by a god, dictators choose themselves or else….

• Fascism = a very aggressive nationalism, men are in charge, the military rules all, no free thought. Belief country and military more important than anything or death.

The Good Guys = The Allies

• Most of the Allies are ruled by democracies, but not everybody.
