MANAGER’S THOUGHTS

It’s another big game for Wythenshawe Town today. We welcome Salford Victoria to Ericstan Park, in what will be a tough game. The team have gone into every game with a fantastic attitude and that’ll be the same again today. We have placed importance on winning every game we are Involved in. We are under no illusions that every game will be difficult but we are looking to be in the draw for the last 8 of the Manchester Amateur Cup. The club has worked very hard to get a big crowd down for today’s game and that has to be applauded. We hope that you enjoy the Wythenshawe Town set up, whether this be you’re 1st time or you’re 10th time. Join us on our adventure to the North West Counties League. Chairman’s Chat Firstly I would like to thank our supporters on behalf of the team and myself, for showing their loyal support in both home and away matches; it’s very much appreciated and we hope you’re enjoying the football being played. Plans are progressing with the development off the field, these things do take a little longer to get through all the red tape, however having held meet-ings with the FA and Football Foundation, I have now been given permission to convert a changing room into a players function room. This will double up as a member’s lounge which I think is fantastic for both football and our so-cial members. Quotes have been done to erect a new enclosed fence to the Altrincham Road end and will be submitted to the Football Foundation fund for approv-al. The plans for the floodlights and measurements required for planning have been completed and will shortly be submitted for approval. There are ongoing plans to erect a full length stand along the Tesco side of the pitch. The ongoing application to enter the North West Counties League and new ground grading by the FA, will enable us to plan and continue our club’s de-velopment. Thank you to our supporters, social members and sponsors for your contin-ued support, the club appreciate it very much. Together we will achieve. Kenny Hope, WTFC Chairman

FAN ZONE ‘Bevo Senior: “I have been watching Town over the years and this team is the best I have seen here. The game against Altrincham, they were that good it was scary how they demolished their reserve side.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH Ashley Woodhead is the Wythenshawe Town ‘ October Player of the Month’. After a string of fantastic performances, he was awarded with the accolade after the West Didsbury & Chorlton Reserves match.
