Spectra by Comcast Spectacor has been the provider of Venue Management and Ticketing & Fan Engagement for the EPFD at the XFINITY Arena since the venue opened in 2003. Comcast Spectacor is part of Comcast, who are also naming rights partner for the XFINITY Arena and XFINITY Community Ice Rink. “We are always seeking new ways to enhance the customer experience, and a big part of any event is concessions and catering,” stated EPFD Board President, Gary Weikel. “Providing fans in the Arena and clients in the Conference Center with an outstanding selection of quality culinary options, delivered with a high degree of customer satisfaction, is of utmost importance and we are excited to partner with Spectra on all aspects of the live event experience.” “Fully integrating all three divisions of Spectra, for the Everett Public Facilities District, allows our team to deliver the ultimate customer experience,” stated Spectra’s Glen Brandeburg, President and COO, Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality. “Clients want a seamless end-to-end solution that drives revenue and growth that we provide with the specialized and efficient management for the EPFD. Spectra will enhance Arena concessions with original concepts, creative menu items, and innovative food trends over the coming months. These enhancements include Burger Prime, custom gourmet burgers; Flights – Tastes of the NW, bringing the flight concept to food with three distinct flavor profiles defined by the NW; Everett Pizza Oven, custom made-to-order pizza; and Hops on Hewitt, offering favorite local craft beers. The Arena Grill will operate as a four-star restaurant experience beginning with the Everett Silvertips season opener on Saturday, October 10. With food quality and service, a critical factor in the success of meetings and banquets, a fresh signature catering menu for the Conference Center has been introduced by new Executive Chef, Jeff Nelson. The menu features northwest- inspired culinary dishes, themed-buffets, create-your-own menu items, action stations, sustainable local vendors and Washington wines. Spectra will work with local area volunteer organizations to raise funds in employment and business opportunities at concession stands. They are also now hiring premium services and kitchen staff.
