American Shorthorn Association Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unlessan animal is listed on the American Shorthorn Association “geneticdefect status list”, the American Shorthorn Association makes norepresentation of any kind as to whether or not the animal has agenetic defect.

Terms And Conditions: Cattle sell per the terms and conditions of theAmerican Shorthorn Association. Announcements from the auctionblock on sale day will take precedence over the information printed inthis catalog. The terms of payment are cash or good check (withproper identification, i.e. drivers license), as well as Visa orMastercard, made payable to the sale clerks. If you choose to use acredit card, you will incur a 3% service charge which will be applied tothe total sale cost (thus a $1,000 heifer will cost you $1,030). Nocattle will be loaded until approved by the sale clerks.

Health: Each animal selling will be accompanied with a state approvedhealth certificate from its state of origin for interstate travel. Buyersshould make themselves aware of the health requirements for theirrespective states. Bred females have been pregnancy checked safe by alicensed veterinarian. Updated breeding information will be availableon a supplement sheet sale day. This sheet will take precedence overstatements in the sale catalog. All bulls selling are guaranteed to bebreeders.

Breeding Guarantee: The Suggested Breeding Guarantee as endorsedby the American Shorthorn Association will be followed.

Registration And Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees orapplications for registration in the hands of the sale manager. Pleaseleave all transfer information with the sale clerks at the completion ofthe sale.

Livestock Transportation: No cattle will be loaded until thecompletion of the sale. We will be happy to assist with arrangingdelivery of purchases to your farm or a convenient location.

Announcements made from the auction block take precedence over allprinted material in this catalog.

Insurance will be available for your purchases at the sale throughHarding & Harding Insurance Company. Contact the clerk at thetime of settlement for your insurance needs.

Liability: Each animal selling will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold.Neither the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale consultants, salemanager, Illinois Shorthorn Association, Illinois State Fairgrounds orother affiliated personnel can be held responsible for any injury or lossfor those attending the sale, but will make every effort to provide forthe safety and comfort of those attending.
