What we do:
The Traditional Job Search Strategy
1. Search for job postings on the internet.
2. Submit your resume and cover letter.
3. Wait to hear from the employer.
With this strategy, you may get 1 or 2 interviews for every 10 applications sent! You need a new strategy!
How Employers Hire in 2015
1. Promote from within
2. Hire based on proof delivered by job-seeker
3. Hire based on referral from friend/colleague
4. Hire based on referral from a trusted recruiter
5. Hire based on reviewing ad responses
6. Hire based on unsolicited resume

1. Ask for help. You’ll likely be surprised how many people will be willing to help you.
2. When networking, consider not just your friends, but also your friends’ friends.
3. Always show appreciation for everyone who helps you. Thank you cards work magic.
4. Consider getting your foot in the door with a great company through internships, part-time jobs or jobs that are “below your pay grade.”
