Why Partner With Us?

SUPPORT COMMUNITY-BUILDING PROGRAMS

The Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation (LACDC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to

economic development, operates a number of community programs including the Los Alamos Chamber

of Commerce and Los Alamos MainStreet. These programs depend on sponsorships of specific pro-

grams and events to help cover overhead costs. Sponsor or partnerships help us build our programs

and give us the ability to conduct the services we provide. We are incredibly grateful for this support.

LOS ALAMOS MAINSTREET

Los Alamos MainStreet hosts several major community events in downtown Los Alamos with the inten-

tion of having ‘more people downtown more of the time.’ MainStreet believes that community-building

events lead to better quality of life for the entire community. Thousands of local and visiting people

enjoy festivals, events and programs hosted by Los Alamos MainStreet every year, activities that build

the vitality of Los Alamos’ downtown. Last year well over 30,000 people attended our events.

LOS ALAMOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce works on behalf of its members to improve the business envi-

ronment and our community. The Chamber is an association of business organizations and individuals

who share a common goal of working together to improve the economic climate of the community.

Chamber membership rates are based on the size of the business. The Chamber is a program of the

Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation.

Our mission is “to encourage and assist our members in achieving their full economic potential for

the benefit of themselves and of the entire community. The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, as an

effective leader, strives to strengthen economic viability within Los Alamos by actively representing,

promoting and defending business interests.”
