Principal’s Corner
Hello Lions!
We have had an incredible 1st quarter packed with ac vity. It’s
hard to believe in nine weeks we have had our Back to School Dance,
Freshman Safari, the produc on of Anonymous, concert choir perfor-
mance, the Bell Game and all of the events ed to our Homecoming
event last week. Our students and staff have been working hard to
make all of this happen and everyone deserves a break.
We are excited to announce that construc on has begun on the
bond projects. Currently, our so ball fields are under construc on
and we will be breaking ground on the new Maintenance and Opera-
ons buildings in the next quarter. One of our goals is to con nue to
seek input from our community. To achieve this, we have increased
the number of Coffee with the Principal mee ngs to once every
month. The upcoming dates for next quarter are 10/17, 11/14, and
12/12 and the loca on will be at the Brentwood Café at 8500 Brent-
wood Blvd. We will be sending out a reminder before each event.
This is an opportunity to come and sit down with me to hear about
what is going on at our school and a chance to ask equa ons. We
hope to see you there.
Have a wonderful break!

Breaking Down the Walls was a week-long event that reached over half of our school’s student body to set the year off right for Liberty. Students par cipated in team-building ac vi es to help promote and cul vate a posi ve campus climate. Since the event, we have seen a significant de-crease in the amount of discipline-related issues when compared to past years. Students reflected on the ac vity with an overwhelming majority indica ng they would like to bring back the event in the years to come to maintain that at Liberty we are #STRONGERTOGETHER.
