RESPECT FOR STAFF AT BRISBANIA PUBLIC SCHOOL

Staff at Brisbania Public School always act in the best interest of our wonderful students, your delightful children. Brisbania staff are dedicated, hardworking, knowledgeable, caring, professional and supportive. It would be appreciated if parents and community members would show respect for the staff’s experience, training and professional judgement. Staff are entitled to their downtown, take leave when required, work part time and change the grade they are teaching to grow professionally, stay healthy mentally and/or physically and/or fulfil parenting responsibilities. Brisbania is very fortunate to have both permanent and temporary teachers who are of a high calibre on staff. Should you have an issue that you would like to discuss on school days, please follow the correct procedures and make an appointment to speak to the teacher at school, via a phone call to the office. If you need to contact the grade supervisor, please make a phone call to the office for an appointment.

School Banking is a great way to practice regular savings Remember, Wednesday is School Banking day and students can bring in their weekly deposit. Saving regularly is an important habit to get into, whether you're saving a little or a lot. Remember, there is no minimum deposit with School Banking, you can send as little as 5c per week, saving regularly is what is important. For every deposit made at school, students will receive a Dollarmites token. Once students have individually collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for a School Banking reward item. School Banking is also a great fundraiser for our school. Our school receives a Regular Savers Contribution of $5 for every 10 deposits processed per student as well as an Annual Contribution which is based on the number of students who made at least one School Banking deposit in the prior year. For more information about contribution payments, visit commbank.com.au/sbinfo. If your child has lost their book, please contact your School Banking Co-ordinator for a replacement or visit any Commonwealth Bank branch.

Thank you for supporting the School Banking program at Brisbania. We would also like to thank the wonderful parent who volunteer as our School Banking Co-ordinator to process our banking every week, Lindsay Ivins. If you would like to know more about School Banking, parent guides will be distributed shortly or can visit www.commbank.com.au/schoolbanking for more information

PIANO TUITION

INCLUDING THEORY AND MUSICIANSHIP

A FEW VACANCIES ONLY ARE AVAILABLE

With very experienced and caring Saratoga teacher. I base my teaching on bringing out the

BEST in each student at their OWN PACE With the expert guidance, from the very first lesson.

I have enjoyed teaching a number of Brisbania PS’s students - (plus many others)- over a number of

years with excellent results. Among which, have been the winners of Senior Championships and Scholarships in the Coffs Harbour and The Central Coast Eisteddfod.

A student can CHOOSE to sit for exams (e.g. through the Australian Music Examinations Board, Trinity

College of London or other recognised Boards) or learn for pleasure alone.

Beginners to advanced and all ages are most welcome.
