Background

As part of their capital program to harden power lines in PalmBeach County, FPL has applied for a permit to install seven (7)utility poles and remove six (6) existing utility poles from the L-13Canal Right-of-Way, between Ohio Road and Lucerne LakesBoulevard• Five (5) new poles to be placed 25’ north of the existing poles• Two (2) replaced in current location at roadway crossings behind

guardrail• One (1) pole removed from the south right-of-way of the L-13 Canal

and replaced with one (1) new pole south of and outside of the right-of-way

No record of permit for initial installation; permits for new parallelinstallations require board authorization

Relocation of existing poles beneficial for right-of-way maintenanceaccess
