THE GRADE 5 PROGRAM

10

Integrating Grade 5

The program runs for 3 months each beginning October and ending in June.

Each of the 3 grade five classes will receive a double (80 minutes) once a six day cycle.

The time is split between Human Ecology and Technology Education. (It works out to about 10 double classes each)

The classes are divided into male/female with the girls beginning in Home Economics/Human Ecology.

In Human Ecology grade 5, I integrate the concepts of Nutrition/Exercise and First Peoples in Social Studies.

The kids look forward to the time we spend together and have a lot of fun too!!
