BUILDING PROGRAM
LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF SE DIVISION ST AND SE 12TH AVE IN THE CITY OF PORTLAND THE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP BRINGS A NEW LANDMARK INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE CONCEPT BEHIND THIS DESIGN IS TO PROVIDE INTERACTIVE AND EFFICIENT SPACES FOR PEO-PLE TO WORK IN DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS. SOME OF THE SPACES ARE TEMPODS, WOODSHOPS, AND MAKERSPACES. THE SPACES VARY IN SIZES AND LAYOUTS TO MAXIMIZE THE ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE IN IT. THE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP WILL PROVIDE THE TOOLS NEEDED TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE, COMMON INTERESTS, DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PRODUCTS, AND MORE.
