• Open the packing box carefully.• Rack out the breaker using

proper handle to test position asdirected on the door.

• Unlock the door of the cubicle bythe key provided on the front dooritself.

• Open the door of cubicle by thelever provided on right side of thecubicle.

• Open the low voltage plug fromthe breaker & park it beneath thelow voltage chamber.

• Extract the breaker using theramps provided.

• Now the cubicle is ready to beerected.

• Open the door of cubicle by thelever provided on right side of thecubicle.

• Extract the breaker using theramps provided

Use the lifting hook provided on topof the cubicle at the Four Corners forlifting the cubicle.

A rating indicating sticker isplaced on the front cover clearlygiving details of the particularcubicle.

• For access to the busbars theblow off covers provided ontop of cubicle have to beopened. 8 x M8 screws,13mm spanner. See A

• Replace the steel pipe withproper busbar.

• Loosely screw the busbarwhile still holding the otherend.

• Replace the steel pipe ofadjacent cubicle of same phaseby other end of the busbar.

• Loosely screw the busbar.• Put back the top support of

busbar on both the ends.• Loosely screw the top cap.• Tighten all the screws using

appropriate torque asmentioned earlier.

TopSupport ofBusbar

• Remove the top support of the busbarby unscrewing the M12 bolt. Allenkey 10A/F.

• Loosen the screw fixing the MS pipeto the support insulator.

• Do both the above steps in adjacentpanel as well.

For the end cubicle, for every phase, on one endof the top support busbar & on the other end aepoxy cap has to be assembled as shown in thepicture.

• Depending on the contract anextended box beneath the cablecompartment may have to beassembled as shown in the figure.

• For this box assembly, all the sidewalls are dispatched loose whereasthe base sheet is fitted on the cablebox as standard.

• At site these walls have to be erectedbeneath the box as shown in thepicture with M8 screws (13mmspanner) & the base plate to beattached at bottom of this box.

• The Circuit breaker has to be put inside the cubicle in “Test position” utilising the ramp.

• Now the LV plug has to be connected.

• The door has to be closed & locked using the locking key.

• The indicator on the CB trolleyshall indicate the “Service”position.

• Now the crank handle can bewithdrawn.

• The indicator on the CB trolleyshall indicate the “Test”position.

• IMPORTANT: Ensure all the conditions mentioned on the front door are fulfilled.

• Put the black knob provided on front cover of the moving part to “Shutter free” position.• Now the moving part could be pulled out using the detachable ramp.

• IMPORTANT: Ensure all the conditions mentioned on the front door are fulfilled.

The operating point of the earthswitch is visible. possible to put the earthing switch

to “OFF” or open position by turning the handle in anti- clockwise direction.• The “ON” or “OFF” indication

of the earth switch can be seenfrom the inspection window.

• Ensure following:• The circuit breaker has been tripped & brought to “TEST” position.• The incoming supply, if it is an incoming unit, has been switched off.

• Put the operating lever on to the protruding rod turn it in anticlockwise direction till you can hear the making sound. Nowinspect the position of indicator.
