The New York City Waterfall

這一項耗資美金1,500萬,由公共藝術基金會(The Public Art Fund)負責,名為紐約瀑布(The NewYork City Waterfall)的 公共裝置藝術工程,6月26日起至10月13日,長達將近四個月的期間,每天上午7點至晚上10點,分別在紐約市的四處地點展示大型人工瀑布,包括布魯克 林大橋下的船舶停泊點、曼哈頓橋北邊35號碼頭、布魯克林4號與5號碼頭之間、總督島(Governors Island),日落後並有燈光照明。依照Car & Travel Monthly雜誌的建議,一 次看完四座人工瀑布的最佳觀光路線,就是搭乘紐約港的觀光遊艇Circle Line Downtown。

四座大型的人工瀑布高度從90到120呎,最高的兩座大約與自由女神像從頭到腳的高度一樣。這項展覽由丹麥藝術家Olafur Eliasson設計,是繼2005年中央公園內大型裝置藝術品--「門」之後最大的公共藝術作品,預計將為紐約市帶來美金5,500萬的觀光收入。--介紹引用自  http://angelsmileoo.pixnet.net/blog/post/20167698
