Greetings Everyone!

It is a blessing to inform you about the launch of the new St. Anthony website

and app. You will be able to access them in September—thank you to Joe Gra-

ziano for all his hard work developing these important tools. In addition, com-

ing soon are Bishop Barron’s Word on Fire topical Bible Studies which begin

Tuesday, September 11th at 6:30pm. There will be flyers in the weeks to

come so you can register. Also beginning in September, you will receive a

newsletter in the mail. The objective of the newsletter is to make sure every-

one at St. Anthony can know what is available to them and not miss out on

any opportunity to serve or grow in the Lord. I would also encourage you to

sign up to receive the weekly Enews with the latest and greatest information—

including a weekly short video and blog by Monsignor that can be shared with

your children and friends. Have no fear, we do not share or sell email ad-

dresses. An easy way to sign up for Enews is to text: 22828 and type in the

message: STANTHONY--or you can fill out the little white SIGN UP CARD in the

pew and place it in the collection plate. If you have any problems getting

signed up, please give me a call or email me and I will help you get hooked

up!

Blessings,

Fellow Parishioners, At the start of the year we reached out to give you the opportunity to handle blessed or religious articles that you may have around your home. Because of your generosity, Msgr. Chiodo & Fr. Gehler have numerous things that they are able to use in their ministries. Please remember that if you have any religious articles that you would like to donate, please continue to leave them in the basket by the sacristy. For questions, feel free to contact Mary Quinn 244-8230 or [email protected].

From Msgr. Frank Chiodo

Friends,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Mr. Juan Bustamante as a member of

our diaconal team here at our parish. Juan will be ordained a Permanent Deacon in August

and the bishop has assigned him here effective August 4th and ends August 4, 2022. He joins

a great team of deacons, retired and fully active. Welcome Deacon Juan.

Thanks to Head Master of Ceremonies Pat Connolly who with the able bodied assistance of

other adults shepherded the servers to the Adventureland Park a week ago. Bless all of our

servers and Masters of Ceremonies. Their service to the Lord at worship is a blessing to all of us, and helps us give due

praise and worship to the Lord. Thanks to all.

I will be attending the annual Deliverance and Exorcism conference at Mundelein Seminary this week, returning Fri-

day.

Join us for the International Rosary next Saturday after the 8:30 Mass. We will pray for our world and for our families.

We will have a conference on Deliverance and spiritual warfare in the lower church after—led by me.

God bless.
