We accept ongoing registration and flexible enrolments options. Please note that two weeks advance notice for registration, schedule changes and withdrawals is required.

Programs require a minimum number of registrants to operate.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS:

• Operate Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.• Remain open during staggered entry days,

designated P.D. Days, March break and winter break• Offer subsidies to qualifying families• Provide nutritional snacks

PROGRAM OPTIONS

Extended Day Program

For students Junior Kindergarten to Grade 2

This program is a balance of investigation and exploration through play supervised by

designated early childhood educators (DECE). Our Extended Day Program operates out of

the Kindergarten classroom and other spaces in the school. Support for children with

special needs is available.

Youth Development Program

For students Grade 3 to Grade 6

This program is designed to engage students in physical activity, social/cooperative

games, drama, visual arts and more. Our Youth Development Program has access to many

school spaces including the gym, library, classrooms and computer labs. The program is

operated by licensed child care providers on behalf of WRDSB.

HOURS OF OPERATION

All our programs operate Monday to Friday during the school year from 7 a.m.

until the arrival bell, and from the dismissal bell until 6 p.m.

Programs may also be offered during staggered entry for Kindergarten,

designated P.D. Days, March Break and Winter Break.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Our Before and After School programs provide a play

based learning environment where children learn through

active play, exploration and inquiry. Our program offers

quality child care that is accessible and complements the

regular school day. We are guided by the Ministry of

Education’s How Does Learning Happen? foundations for

learning.
