On Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at 9:00am, a special bi-lingual All Souls Day Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sac-rament. An invitation will be extended to all families who bur-ied a loved one this year at Blessed Sacrament. COLUMBUS DAY
On Monday, October 8th, 2012 the Rectory Office will be closed in honor of Columbus Day. After the 9:00am Mass the Church will be closed and there will be no Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
115th COMMUNITY PRECINCT MEETING
On Tuesday, October 16, 2012 any concerned citizen of Jackson Heights is welcome to attend the monthly meeting at the 115th Precinct on Northern Blvd. and 93rd Street. The meeting begins at 7:00pm. You can address any concern you may have about the community at that time and allow the Po-lice to address your concerns and needs.
MORNING OF PRAYER FOR WOMEN
On Saturday, October 20th, 2012 St. Joan of Arc is spon-soring a Morning of Prayer for Women from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Lower Level in Ward Meehan Hall. BISHOP VALERO VISIT
Bishop Valero asked me to extend to the parishioners of Blessed Sacrament his heartfelt appreciation for the wonder-ful celebration held in his honor last week. Bishop Valero was so happy to return to Blessed Sacrament and enjoyed the opportunity to see so many old and dear friends. The Bishop congratulated us on the beautiful new room we re-furbished and hopes that we will put it to good use. Thanks to all who attended this very special moment in our parish history and for making the Dedication Mass and Reception such a memorable event.
A SPECIAL SEMINAR
On Wednesday, November 7 at 9:30 AM St. Bartholomew’s
Church will host a Seminar on the Law of Wills and Estates. This seminar is sponsored by the Dioceses of Brooklyn and there is no charge to attend. Some issues to be addressed will be: Es-tate Taxes, Probate, Health Care Proxy, Joint Accounts etc. There will also be time for questions and answers. Marilyn Heller is a attorney and an expert in the field of Wills and Estate Planning. This Seminar is an opportunity to obtain update & information about subjects that are useful and practical.

VISITA DEL OBISPO VALERO
El Obispo Valero me pidió extender su sincero agradecimiento a los feligreses de la Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento por la maravillosa celebración en su honor la semana pasada. El Obispo Valero estaba muy feliz de volver a la Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento y disfrutar de esta oportunidad de ver a viejos y queridos amigos. El obispo nos ha felicitado por la hermosa instalación que fué renovada y espera que la pongamos a buen uso. Gracias a todos los que asistieron a este momento tan espe-cial en la historia de nuestra parroquia y por hacer la cele-bración de la Misa y Recepción un evento memorable .
