SGA PLAN ACTIONS TO DATE
• Initial briefings held with City Council on Nov. 28, 2017 and Planning Commission Jan. 10, 2018.
• First public meeting was held Jan. 25, 2018. Focus of this meeting was on future land use for Burton Station Village.
• Briefing given to L and J Gardens Civic League on Feb. 22, 2018.
• Briefing given to Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Realtors (HRACRE) on March 7, 2018.
• Second public meeting held March, 26, 2018.
• First steering committee meeting on April 16, 2018.
• Third public meeting held on April, 19, 2018.

A greenway/park system should be developed to replace the former existing and planned golf course. This system will serve to provide buffers, connections between land uses, and aesthetic enhancement of the built environment.
