The mission of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges is to provide statewide leadership for the advancement of New Jersey’s 19 community colleges and to perform sector coordinating responsibilities as required by state law.

In 2014, the NJCCC was awarded $500,000 by the Kresge Foundation to support a statewide Center for Student Success.

About: Coordinated by the NJ Center for Student Success, NJC4 is a statewide completion and transfer campaign consisting of a series of campus-based completion events designed and implemented by Phi Theta Kappa student leaders, all taking place within a designated week.

Our goal: engaging students as stakeholders in their own success.

1. Identify a statewide C4 Advisory Board

2. If available, partner with your PTK Regional Coordinator

3. Hold numerous conference calls with chapter advisors and student presidents – facilitate exchange of ideas

4. Engage other campus offices and student organizations in the program

5. Communicate your plans with statewide leadership including deans of students, chief academic officers and college presidents

6. Engage distance education students through the online pledge

7. Fundraise through state organizations for chapter programmatic support
