    The following reference guide contains a listing of San Diego area resources. The guide

    has been complied by the Military Family Advisory Committee at the San Diego Armed

    Services YMCA. Inside, you will find a listing of resources in various service areas such

    as parenting support, deployment information, and social activities. While the guide isnot inclusive of every resource that may be available, we hope that you will find

    information to help meet most of your needs. The committee has worked hard to assurethat all of the included resources are legitimate and current. If you have any questions or

    Head Start Child development program for children age 3-5 years. Provides lowincome families with comprehensive program to meet emotional, social, health, and

    psychological needs. Children with disabilities are mainstreamed into the program and

    deploying service member while they read a childrens book. The child can then follow
