&Recognize carcinogens on product labels, boycott such products, and shop for safe alternatives from non-mainstream industries…

Which products are more or less likely to provoke allergies or irritation, cause birth defects or cancer, trigger neurological problems, or pose other health hazards?

At the turn of the century only 1 in 1,000 people had cancer!

What has happened?

Toxic exposure causes major increase in degenerative diseases such as cancer, aging, neurological, heart and other diseases.

The effects of these diseases may not be noticeable until much later in life.

INCREASED

Studies confirm higher incidence of childhood cancer…

- pregnant mothers exposed to a variety of chemical carcinogens in workplace

- mothers exposed to nitrosamine carcinogens (nitrite-preserved meats)

We are faced with a public health crisis.

“We are a sick society, and we are getting sicker every day, because of the reckless policies of petrochemical industries whose influence with government and regulation agencies are so great that the toxic danger information has been withheld from the public deliberately.”

Dr. Samuel Epstein, M.D.

The High Stakes of

Cancer Prevention Tikkun Magazine - November / December 2000 Article

• Cancer Establishment trivializing or ignoring prevention initiatives while claiming major gains in the “war on cancer”.

• The cancer establishment’s aversion to prevention -complicated by conflicts of interest springing from the cancer establishment’s intimate connections with corporate America including, pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing companies
