Alliance Française Bangkok will host an Opening Fest iva l throughout the month of October.Language and Culture lovers are invited to an Open House on October 7th. Comics will have the leading role on the occasion of “Comic (S)trip!” which will feature exhibition, workshops andconferences. Within Bangkok Art Biennale 2018 will be displayed a monumental painting of internationally acclaimed artist Yan Pei Ming. The extraordinary faith of “God of dance” Rudolf Nureyev will be revealed through an exhibition, a ballet screening and a conference by his disciple Charles Jude.

“France eMotion – The animated journey” isa travelling art exhibition that celebrates newtechnologies, the work of four young internationalphotographers, and cultural sites throughout France. Featuring 35 original pieces that come alive through augmented reality, the project aims to spark the curiosity of visitors around the world and inspire them to come (re)discover France’s rich heritage.

Are you a filmmaker with aspirations of making feature films? Or are you just curious and want to learn more about the art of scriptwriting, as well as international co-productions and festivals? SEAFIC Open House is a great opportunity to discover the art behind feature films!

On the centenary of the end of the First World War, the Institute of Research on Contemporary Southeast Asia (Irasec) and Chulalongkorn University organize an international conference on the 2 millions of Asians (including Siamese) who took part in the conflict.

“David Foenkinos is a writer, screenwriter and director. He is one of the most read authors inFrance. With his particular writ ing style andmoving stories, he has conquered an internationalaudience. After a discussion at the Media Library, the public will have the chance to watch his last film for the first time in Thailand: “Jealous”
