The service is aimed at helping to get otherwise redundant aqueous-based machines back into operation. It can involve modifying a previously dedicated machine to handle a range of new components or the addition or upgrade of filtration units, such as bag or cartridge type filters for solid contaminants and belt, disc or coalescing separators for tramp oil and floating debris. Spray or immersion wash cleaning machines can be upgraded to CE standard with rinse, or drying sections being added if required. If steam is no longer available as a heating method it can be replaced with a modern, efficient alternative, such as packaged gas burners. Machines can also be steam cleaned and fully repainted to achieve a 'good as new' condition. In addition to its own equipment, Ransohoff can refurbish any make of aqueous washing and degreasing machine. Typical refurbishment work involves completely cleaning out blocked pipes, replacing jets, gas burners and motors, with full reconditioning of any other part that needs attention. According to the company, previously disused washing and degreasing machines can be back in production quickly and cost effectively, and no longer taking up valuable floor space.
