Degreasing machine refurbishment now available
Ransohoff plc is now offering customers in the UK arefurbishment service for redundant washing or degreasingmachines that costs significantly less than the cost of areplacement machine.
The service is aimed at helping to get otherwiseredundant aqueous-based machines back into operation. It
can involve modifying a previously dedicated machine tohandle a range of new components or the addition orupgrade of filtration units, such as bag or cartridge typefilters for solid contaminants and belt, disc or coalescingseparators for tramp oil and floating debris.
Spray or immersion wash cleaning machines can beupgraded to CE standard with rinse, or drying sectionsbeing added if required. If steam is no longer available asa heating method it can be replaced with a modern,efficient alternative, such as packaged gas burners.
Machines can also be steam cleaned and fully repaintedto achieve a 'good as new' condition.
In addition to its own equipment, Ransohoff canrefurbish any make of aqueous washing and degreasingmachine.
Typical refurbishment work involves completelycleaning out blocked pipes, replacing jets, gas burners andmotors, with full reconditioning of any other part thatneeds attention.
According to the company, previously disused washingand degreasing machines can be back in productionquickly and cost effectively, and no longer taking upvaluable floor space.
