ABOUT USAASuccess is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization based in Falls Church, Virginia, that provides year-round weekly mentorship and essential life skills training to middle school to college students from low-income families. Our vision is to train and grow the next generation of leaders, responsible citizens, and agents for positive change. Led by an all-volunteer board, AASuccess is currently offering our service and annual scholarships to students in the local Washington DC Metropolitan area. We also provide project-based programs in the summer to domestic students, as well as those in China and Vietnam. We constantly partner with other local organizations to help plan and participate in community outreach projects.

We train students to work with leaders to form initiatives that motivate them to find their own path.

MISSION & VISIONAASuccess was founded in 2007 with a mission to empower children and young adults to achieve their true potential, while cultivating future leaders to spread ethical and humanitarian values in our communities.The main goals are to:• Develop, educate and mentor underserved Asian American students through their involvement with community-based programs that foster ethical, intellectual and social development• To create a self-sustainable learning environment between professional mentors, coaches and students based on mutual trust and respect• To empower students to become future leaders, responsible citizens, and agents for positive change

The Life Skills Academy (LSA) ProgramLSA is AASuccess’ flagship year-round mentoring program, in which we connect experienced, dedicated mentors with high school students to provide them guidance and necessary resources. Simultaneously, students are encouraged and are given opportunities to participate and lead community projects to practice their newly developed skills. Over the past 10 years, LSA has grown from a modest program serving local students to become a structured and patented model dedicated to promoting leadership, humanitarian, and the spirit of giving back for Asian-American teenagers.

ENGAGE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS & INDUSTRY LEADERS IN THE ASIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITYSince our inception, AASuccess has matured into a structured non-profit organization that continues to offer free critical leadership skills training and coaching, as well as career development and counseling, to underserved minority students from middle school to college levels in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

This year, AASuccess plans to increase the number of students served by 10%, as well as organizing large-scale community outreach projects. AASuccess has been fortunate to have gained strong support and encouragement from not only business and community partners but also political and activist leaders, most of whom are business owners and young professionals in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Our partners range industries such as beauty and food, real estate, technology, and healthcare. All of them work and contribute to the success of our students.
