General Concept and Course ObjectivesThe course objectives are to review and discuss effective approaches to diagnosis and specific interventions in radiology of the abdomen and pelvis

WorkshopsParticipants will attend 20 different work-shops. Group size 50–60 participants.

Workshops consist of a brief introduction and then study and finally discussion of the cas-es provided by the teachers. The participants should bring their own laptop (PC or Mac) for viewing cases, which will be provided on a USB stick. The case viewer was specifically developed for the IDKD courses.

Lectures– Rüttimann Memorial Lecture

(Sunday, March 25). – 8 Highlight- and Special Lectures

throughout the week. Contents: new developments, interventional techniques.

Film Reading PanelCases are presented to a panel of 8 work-shop teachers by the panel organizers. They usually select a two team competition. The panel cases are as well available to the par-ticipants at the beginning of the course. Par-ticipants thus can solve the cases as well

and hand in the answers until Tuesday noon. Teams of maximum of 3 should de-clare their collaboration and hand in a single rather than multiple answer sheets. Prizes will be awarded to the participants with the best answers.

IDKD Book – Course SyllabusIDKD Book 2018 is an Open Access publica-tion by Springer, containing the condensed version of the workshops. Each IDKD partic-ipant will receive a copy.

IDKD online cases IDKD offers access to two well-documented cases per teacher in the IDKD online data-base. For access the IDKD user name and password are required!

IDKD on the InternetInformation about IDKD activities is con-stantly updated. Please visit our website at www.idkd.org.

ExhibitionBooths of selected imaging industries and one bookseller.

Course and Teacher EvaluationIDKD is continuously investing in organisa-tion, e-facilities and teaching. To this end the course directors need your feedback on teacher performance and the course itself. Links to the evaluation forms are provided via the USB sticks provided or can be direct-ly accessed on http://evaluation.idkd.org.

Stability is in its DNAUpon the conception of Dotarem®, Guerbet’s research team, in order to minimize the release risk of gadolinium, designed the gadoterate meglumine molecule to provide high chemical stability. 1 Dotarem® shows a unique profile based on its original features:• Macrocyclic & ionic molecule developed by Guerbet’s researchers• Patented manufacturing process• More than 70 million global injections with zero confirmed

unconfounded cases of NSF 2-4

• No visible brain hyperintensities related to dechelated Gd, even in cases of repeated injections 5-8
