OPLAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL EARLY REGISTRATION

1. In line with Deped Order No. 161, s. 2016 re: Conduct of Senior High School Career Guidance ogram and Early Registration for SY 2016-2017 and Regional Memorandum No. 248, s. 2016 re:

Oplan Senior High School Early Registration, this office directs Junior and Senior High Schools and Alternative Learning System Commu11ity Learning Centers of this division to conduct early registration from October 16-29, 2016.

2. The objective of this activity is to ensure that all Grade 10 completers are enrolled in Senior High School and to locate, identify and enroll out-of-school youth who dropped out in the Formal School System but would like to go back to school.

3. The schools shall conduct the following activities and accomplish/submit required reports based on the timeline below:

4. Furthermore, massive advocacy campaign to find children and youth in the communities should be undertaken by the Formal School Teachers and Alternative Learning System implementers to bring them back to school thru the follmv i ng suggested activities:

a) Strengthening the School K to 12 Task Force on the Oplan SHS Early Registration b) Mapping and tracking of learners shall be undertaken by the public school teachers, school

heads and ALS lmplementers in coordination with local officials and civic organizations c) Tapping local Radio Stations announcing or plugging-in drive d) Publishing basic information drive in bulletin boards of schools, Municipai/Barangay

Halls and other public places e) Conducting information drive in schools for referrals regarding Senior High School Early
