Dynaset HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pump has outstanding durability along with the best power-to-size ratio. It doesn’t have any rotating parts, which makes the pump low maintenance, compact and robust. HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pump transforms the hydraulic power of a work machine into high pressure water. Installation can be done on all mobile machines from vans, miniloaders, platform lifts, ROV’s all the way to the largest excavators, trucks, ships and dumpers.
VariationsDYNASET HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pump
The range is vast. Customers may choose models with various pressure levels, water flow output and materials. With number of nozzle solutions and pump models, HPW produces high pressure water with low water flow or high water flow, low pressure water with high water flow, atomized water mist and the pump can tolerate different fluids.
High pressure water is usually the best way to perform everyday cleaning tasks and it is applicable for a large number of applications almost in all industries. Utilizing the hydraulic power of a mobile machine to produce high pressure water is still an unfamiliar method for the general public. However, it brings indisputable advantages for the customers and therefore they tend to choose HPW instead of the traditional methods. The new innovative technology reduce operating costs and allows the user to work more efficiently.
Dynaset Hydraulic High Pressure Water pump has dozens of different variations. HPW Hydraulic Power Washer, also known as hydraulic high pressure washer, is the most common application of the pump. HPW technology is used for street washing, dust control, pipeline and bin cleaning, hydro demolition, water cutting, scaling and subsea applications, mining applications. The list goes on and on.

HPW Hydraulic Power Washer
High pressure washing is usually the best way to do a cleaning job. The high pressure water removes the dirt efficiently. Due to low water consumption and the lack of an additional engine and a fuel tank, customers will save water, space, working hours, fuel and in maintenance costs. That means significant cost reduction and more profits.
KPL Street Washing Unit
High pressure water removes the dirt effectively, even from the pores in asphalt. High pressure and low water consumption allows fast paced working with cost reduction.
PPL High Pressure Pipe Cleaning Unit
Self-propelled cleaning nozzle with hydraulic hose reel allows over 100 meters of cleaning distance horizontally and about five storeys vertically. There are applications available for flushing, purging of pipelines, drains, sewers, storm drains, culvert etc. An optional water heater will increase the cleaning power.
HPW-DUST High Pressure Dust Suppression
The system produces targeted atomized water mist to suppress the dust. The most innovative dust control system is used in demolition, street cleaning, material handling, recycling and waste management. Targeted water mist jets are forming a cover which dust particles cannot pass trough. The rewarded HPW-DUST brings savings in reduced water consumption and unnecessary labor cost decrease. HPW-DUST is the best way to reduce harmful PM10 dust emissons at worksite.
HPW-FIRE High Pressure Firefighting system
Dynaset has several products for firefighting and rescue industry. The interesting product is FP Firefighting Piercing kit which includes a hydraulically operated piercing tool, HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pump and a control unit. FP pierces walls, roofs, windows and sprays atomized water mist to suppress the fire. The kit can be installed for example on a ladder truck.

Offshore, Vessel and Subsea Applications
Several models of Dynaset HPW pumps are used for various tasks in subsea applications. Thanks to the pump’s compact size, light weight, durability and performance, they are ideal for ROV applications in under water work.
Today, the reliable HPW is providing high flow fluid to assist with shutting down blow out preventer systems on deepwater drilling rigs as contingency if the rig system fails. HPW also provides high pressure water for washing sealing faces and clearing silt from monitoring systems. In addition, it is applied for removing marine growth and provides high pressure to assist with back seal testing of flowline connections. HPW is widely used for power washing in working boats such as tugboats and fishing vessels.

Hydro Demolition and Water Cutting
Dynaset manufactures extremely powerful HPW models for hydro demolition. For example the HPW1000 has tremendous power to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The maximum water pressure of the model is 1000 bar and water flow 30 lpm. The output power is 50kW. If a customer requires a pump that’s even more powerful, Dynaset can meet the needs up to 200kW. Powerful HPW pumps are also used for water cutting e.g. in paper industry.
De-Icing
Dynaset De-icing technology provides cost-effective modules for spreading de-icing fluids to remove ice or prevent icing. The system includes HPW hydraulic high pressure fluid pump which tolerates different fluids extremely well and corrosion will not be a problem. Basically Dynaset provides high pressure fluid pumps which can be used with all de-icing fluids. Durable HPW pumps are free from scheduled maintenance.
With Dynaset De-Icing Technology, airports are able to save plenty of resources when the modern Dynaset technology optimizes the consumption of the expensive de-icing fluids. Right amount of deicer spread on a runway prevents corrosion of aircrafts and saves costs when the consumption is accurate.
HDF Hydraulic Drilling Fluid Pump
The pump is suitable for soil flushing, drill bit jetting, casings lubrication, bore stabilization and pressurising. Content of solid fraction in drilling fluid can be up to 25%. The pump can be installed on drilling machines, pile driving rigs, stabilization machines, power packs etc.
JPL High Pressure Bin Washing System
Dynaset presents the modern way for bin cleaning by automatic power washing of waste bins as a part of the emptying cycle. Range of features is available from hand pistol washers to automatic washing robots. Patented washing and water recycling system has enough water for 300 bins with typical bin cleaning time of 15 seconds.

There are different PPL High Pressure Pipe Cleaning Unit applications available for cleaning, de-clogging, de-icing, flushing and purging of pipelines, drains, sewers, culvert etc. Self propelled pulsating cleaning nozzle enables over 100 meters reach in horizontal pipes and 5 storeys reach vertically. PPL includes HPW Hydraulic Power Washer with washing pistol. PPL is powered by hydraulics of a carrier machine.

Easy to use
Working with hydraulic equipment is easy
when using a remote control. It allows to adjust RPM of an engine, use the hose reel and run the water pump. HPW Hydraulic water pump is easy to start by the push of a button.
The powerful water jets move forward the nozzle head. The high pressure water jets open the blockages and clean the pipe efficiently.

The work is done rapidly and plenty of water is saved due to low water consumption.
The nozzle head is easy to replace with a water pistol. Power washing with the water pistol is a great feature to have on-board.
Easy installation
Hydraulic equipment are compact and powerful. Their size allows more room for other tools since they can be located in a confined space. HMV Modular Valve system allows compact and safe installation of several hydraulic equipment. The valve blocks are stacked in a sandwich manner for saving space and reducing costs.

In some cases vehicles, such as vans, trucks and pickup trucks, might not have a hydraulic system installed. That doesn’t stop our customers from using powerful hydraulic equipment. Dynaset expertice allows hydraulic equipment to be installed on all mobile machines.
Dynaset HVO Hydraulic power take-off (PTO)
Dynaset HVO allows to use hydraulic equipment by utilizing the engine power of a vechile. HVO securely takes power from the engine to Dynaset High Speed hydraulic pump. It produces a steady hydraulic flow for hydraulic equipment

Dynaset hydraulic equipment converts the hydraulic power of mobile machinery into electricity, high pressure water, compressed air, power for a magnet and vibration. However sometimes a vehicle doesn’t include a hydraulic system. For our customers that will not be a problem thanks to the Dynaset expertice on hydraulics.
DYNASET HVOPTO - Power Take-off
regardless of the RPM of the vehicle’s engine. The variable hydraulic pump tolerates staggering 5000 RPM and therefore it allows hydraulic equipment such as a hydraulic generator to be used, also while driving.
The system includes a solenoid valve which controls the hydraulic oil flow (on/off). The solenoid control 12/24V makes the system easy to use since the driver is able to turn on/off the Dynaset High Speed Hydraulic Pump from the button in the vehicle’s cabin or with a remote control.
When the hydraulic pump is turned on, it begins to produce hydraulic flow for hydraulic equipment. The hydraulic equipment adjusts the correct pressure level. In case something goes wrong, Dynaset pressure limiter shuts down the hydraulics and protects the system from bigger damages. The pressure limiter is a bit like “an automatic emergency stop button“ when a too high hydraulic oil pressure level is detected. The pressure limiter is hardly ever needed but it is a great back up.
Easy installation with DYNASET HPTO
There are various ways to install hydraulic power take-off. One of them is cog belt drive. Dynaset has developed a safe and an easy way to install a HVO with cog belt drive. New HPTO Hydraulic power take-off provides patented mechanism for power take-off from engine to hydraulic pump.
PTO installation alternatives
HPTO is easy to install due to the adjustable mechanism and a lot of working hours is saved since welding isn’t required as in custom HVO installations. It is safe to use because the belt force is focused on the mechanism itself without causing any strain on the crankshaft. Dynaset provides spare parts for HPTO unlike in custom made HVO installations.

Dynaset Dealer Meeting 2015
For two days, international dealers learned about Dynaset hydraulic equipment and applications from the Blue Hydraulics product line. The company also exhibited older products and applications to show their reliability.
In addition to information, the event included a visit at Dynaset factory in Ylöjärvi, Finland where the dealers got to know the products and applications in practice thanks to numerous demonstrations.

Dealer Meeting and Open House Event were held in June 2015 at DYNASET factory in Ylöjärvi, Finland. Around 40 professionals from 18 countries participated in Dynaset Dealer Meeting 2015. Also Open House Event attracted a lot of people to explore innovative hydraulic equipment on mobile machines.

At the same time with the Dealer Meeting, Dynaset arranged an open house event where people could visit the factory and see demonstrations of various product applications. People also had a chance to try some of the applications themselves. The playful event included free food, music, the wheel of fortune and a lottery of HPW200-MOBI Hydraulic Power Washer.
The Winner of HPW200-MOBI
Dynaset held the lottery of HPW200-MOBI Hydraulic Power Washer during the open house event at the factory in Ylöjärvi, Finland. The winner of the price was a 13-year-old Petteri Ahonen from Lähihuolto Oy.
Despite his young age, Petteri is working with his father Hannu Ahonen in Lähihuolto Oy. Petteri is already operating with heavy machinery. He has been compacting asphalt with an excavator and is familiar with loaders as well.

In addition to efficiency and fastness, the subcontractor can earn more revenues with HG Hydraulic Generator which is always aboard with the excavator. MSL Kemppe Oy, a subcontractor for the city of Rovaniemi, has one on each of their excavators.
Timo Kauppinen, who is responsible for construction sites in Rovaniemi, explains the background of requirements.
“The hydraulic generator [able to produce electricity for welding] is replacing cable installations and combustion engine generators that require separate transportation. Especially in rapid and demanding leakage repairs, the

hydraulic generator significantly speeds up working since the electricity is always available.”
Napapiirin Energia ja Vesi Oy, a company from Rovaniemi, Finland, is responsible for electricity, heat and water supply in the area. Building new networks, maintenance and repair are included in their responsibilities. The company requires pipeline subcontractors to equip their excavators with generators to increase efficiency and speed up operations.

Vast range of models
HG Hydraulic Generator is one of the many Dynaset made hydraulic equipment on excavators. In addition to sixteen standard models (3,5 - 70 kVA), Dynaset manufactures special hydraulic generators in power range of 70 - 350 kVA. There are also enclosure protection IP54 models available. Customers may choose the hydraulic generator’s frequency level between 50 Hz or 60 Hz.HG Hydraulic Generator is used in worksites for multiple purpose, for example generate power for electric tools, lights, welding, oumps, angle grinders, concrete mixers etc.
High quality electricity in compact size
Smooth running and automatic frequence control of the Hydraulic Generator produces steady and high quality electricity. Hydraulic Generator is safe to install on all hydraulic systems. Size and weight are only half of the combustion engine generators and since there isn’t a large fuel tank or a heat-generating exhaust pipe, Hydraulic generator is easy to install also in a confined space.
Electricity and welding current from a single unit
HWG Hydraulic Welding Generator is a great choice when powerful welder is needed at the worksite. It replaces traditional welder in mobile use and generates electricity for tools.
Dynaset HWG is easy to connect on the hydraulics of mobile machine with quick couplings. Hydraulic welding generators can be moved easily due to their light weight and compact size. K-series models also provide 3 phase electricity.
Latest addition to the line of demo machines was finished last spring. The Blue Volvo ECR50D is equipped to show possibilities of modern excavator. This is the eighth machine dedicated to demonstrations and carries the widest selection of DYNASET equipment ever.
From operator-entrepreneur to trade show work
Before the trade shows and events, Mr. Jorma Länkinen started working with heavy equipment in the 1960’s. The first years went by as a tractor contractor on energy peat collection sites. Since the early 70’s the machines have been replaced with excavators. During the years as a contractor he created strong network within the heavy

Mr. Jorma Länkinen has spent the last decade touring trade shows and heavy equipment events exhibiting the latest and the greatest in excavator technology. Over the years many of his demo excavators have also carried DYNASET equipment.
Demonstration shows the potential of equipment-
machinery business. To trade shows Länkinen landed by chance.
”I bought a brand new Caterpillar excavator in 2003. It was equipped with DYNASET HG10 hydraulic generator and rudimentary machine control system. I promised to take part in a road show with Caterpillar dealer network over the summer,” says Länkinen.
The summer lead to many more years of demos. The first few machines were 20 ton class intended for infrastructure sites with Länkinen’s company, but machines ended up sharing time with trade shows. Around 2010 an idea came up to concentrate on demos by using smaller machines with better equipment.
Now, almost 10 machines later, the demo excavator and Länkinen with his family spend 60 days on the road for demonstrations. Trade show are the heart of business
Länkinen enjoys the time at trade shows and events. It is a possibility to meet friends and acquaintances collected over the years as a contractor and an active member in Infrastructure contractor association of Finland. The trade shows are also a chance to keep up with the development in machines and most importantly to promote the demonstration equipment.
“Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by all machines and devices. I even got myself a pilot licence as soon as I could,” Länkinen tells about ending up to work with heavy equipment.
Working with heavy equipment – both as a contractor and now in trade shows – Länkinen values most the good network of people with understanding to develop relationship in long term.
“Through the demonstration work I have had chance to meet amazing people and I really value the constantly developing co-operation that we do. Everyone from Volvo, SKF, Engcon, Novatron, Remu and DYNASET are really appreciated,” thanks Länkinen. 19
