According to GTM Research, 2017 installations are expected to drop slightly from a record-shattering 2016. However, by 2021 there will be over 100 GW of solar installed in the U.S., with annual totals approaching 18 GW in 2022. California is and always has been the number one solar market in

the US. With currently more than 19 GW cumulative solar capacity installed, California leads the way. Intersolar closely works with CALSEIA, the California Solar Energy Industries Association, to support pioneering ideas which point the way to increasing the share of solar power in the energy supply.
