Welcome to the debut issue of Fine City Photos, for those that don’t know Fine City refers to the welcoming message on the signs as you approach Norwich here in Norfolk, UK.
This zine showcases a generous handful of Norwich based photographers and their photos.
The first issue has a slightly vague theme of “Home” and has two Featured Photographers as well, who this issue are Rekha Garton and David Henry Thomas.

Rekha graduated uni two years ago with a degree in Photography but unfortunately fell really ill and was given two and a half years to recover fully, but it gave her time to reflect on her work and has been researching and concentrating shoots more carefully since.
She only got 3 GCSE’s and 3 A-Levels, so is living proof you can do a degree without all that! She mainly loves doing fashion and beauty shoots with a whole creative team but since meeting her partner she experienced the joy of photographing children! Having never ever thought she’d venture down that road. She really enjoys finding new places in Norfolk to photograph and people to collaborate with.

David Henry Thomas is a portrait and fashion photographer. He primarily uses film, however will also use digital if he sees fit.
His work has been in many exhibitions; a regular in the SAVORR exhibits, and his ‘Drowning Man’ has been featured as the front cover of Thomas Bodström’s novel ‘De voortvluchtige’.
He has worked alongside other photographers, such as Mark O’Sullivan, as Paris based fashion photographer and founder of Under The Influence Magazine.
