ish. Membership is only $20. No Meetings to attend.

Baptisms

Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

ents are required to attend one Baptism Parents class.

Please call the rectory to find out when the next class

will be held and register.

Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

mation are only issued to registered members of the

parish.

Wedding

To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

required.

Anointing of the Sick

Communion to the Homebound

Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

Adult Confirmation Classes

The Archdiocese of New York Catechetical Office offers a special program for Catholic adults who have received their

First Communion. This program offers eight sessions after which the one of the bishops of this archdiocese will confer

Confirmation at a special Mass.

To enter the program, the adult must have a letter of permission from his/her pastor and copies of both their baptismal

and First Communion certificates, The adult must complete an online registration form. Price is $120 per person, $120

for an engaged or married couple. More details on this program, locations, dates, and online registration at nyfaithforma-

Giving Tree: In the next few weeks we will place Christmas trees in both churches which will have tags with Christmas wishes for the less fortunate children in our parish. Please find it in your heart to take a tag and bring a smile to a child this Christmas. The Giving Trees will also have tags requesting $25 supermarket gift cards. These cards will be saved for our food pantry for distri-bution for Christmas and throughout 2018.

Christmas Fundraiser: We are selling coffee mugs,

car magnets and rose scented rosaries. Coffee mugs

feature the Serenity Prayer, Love is Patient, Love is

Kind, Love never Ends and Pope Francis. Each mug

is $4 each. 3 mugs for $10. Rose scented rosaries are

also $4 each or 3 for $10. Keep Christ in Christmas

and Jesus is my GPS car magnets will also be sold 2

for $5. These make nice Christmas gifts.

FOOD PANTRY: Our Food Pantry will be open on

Tuesday, December 12 from 4pm—5pm and 7pm—

8pm. Please come if you could use some assistance.

Come Celebrate The Feast of

Our Lady of Guadalupe

Come and celebrate this joyous feast day in

honor of our Blessed Mother with our Hispanic com-

munity on Monday, December 12 . The evening be-

gins at 7pm with a procession from St. Roch Church

up Port Richmond Avenue and back to the church.

At 8pm Fr. Roby, Fr. Diego, Fr. Abraham, Fr. Hau-

ver, Msgr. Soares and Msgr. Whalen will celebrate

Mass. After mass join us for fellowship in the Parish

hall. Everyone is welcome!

BINGO: Join us for Bingo games on Friday nights.

Come and bring your friends. Parish hall doors open

at 6pm.

ciation would like to thank everyone who came to

support our annual Christmas Fair. The continued

support of our parish families is always appreciated.

Vengan y celebren esta fiesta alegre con

desde iglesia de St. Roque hasta Port Rich-
