1. About Vayo Flexa Accelerator
Vayo Flexa Accelerator (VFA) software accelerates Fuji Flexa programming with intelligent, automatic & no-brainer approach. Flexa Accelerator enables Fuji Flexa to import varies PCB CAD/Gerber & BOM, SMT Programs; utilizes design information in maximum; intelligently match existing part data & create new part data; automatic correct parts angle & position; generate output directly to Flexa Job. It leverages the whole Fuji placement programming process, which reduce programming cycle reduce machine occupy time to new product introduction. Therefore it saves manufacturing and labor cost.
2. Data Source Requirement
Data source: 2.1: ASM/SiPlaceâs program which is from Siplace pro programming system of ASM 2.2: Sample data is located at \Vayo-Flexa Accelerator\Data\SampleData\3_ASM_Program
2.2.1: Sipro File: Vayo1152084.sipro 2.2.2: XML File: N011360-PANEL_B.xml
How to export ASMâs program from Siplace Pro system: 1) Open SIPLACE Pro Desk software, select the desired output of the program in Job Tree View, or
Recipe Tree View interface, right-select "Data Model Export ...";
2) Select the output path, click "Save". (â*.Siproâ is the format of output program with version of Pro
V7.0 or higher than Pro V7.0, â* xmlâ is the format of output program with version lower than Pro V7.0.)

3. How to start VFA
When you finished installing VFA and active it, you will see a new shortcut in Fuji Flexa Director, so you can start VFA over here every time.
Note: You can also find it in your folder where you have installed: \Vayo-Flexa Accelerator\VFA.exe

4. Flow Chart (Step by step guide)
4.1. Default work flow chart:
Note:
1. There are total 11 steps according to diffirent data source input;
2. For Gerber Inpu step,itâs optional according to your data source,if you import pcb CAD or SMT program data, maybe you need to skip this step.
3. It supports to customized flow chart if needed, but get Vayoâs support.
4.2. Explanation of Flow Chat
A step by step flow chart is offered to ease the operation (Ctrl+F1 to show flow chart if close); the default flow chart appears as below: Flow chart file name: VFA-process-EN.txt, or refer below picture:

Note: To switch to different flow chat, go to menu Process-> Select Process Flow.
4.3. Required procedures for ASMâs program data source
1. Create new job with program input step 1: Program Import
2. Import Gerber layer for reference (Optional) step 2: Gerber import
3. Confirm or set Mark point (Optional) step 5: Mark Setting
4. Smart to assign PD and correct angle for parts: step 7: Part Data Editor
6. Set PCB reflow orientation: step 8: PCB Orientation
7. Finally verify PD/Polarity/Position of parts: step 9: Part Verification
8. Generate Flexa Job: step 10: Generate Flexa job to Flexa step 11: Generate Flexa job to hard disk.
5. How to generate Fuji Flexa job with ASMâs program
5.1. Create New Vayo Job with program input
Menu: File->New Job To start a new project, you must create a Vayo Job firstly; all inputs shall be saved to this Job. 1) File-> New Job, or click on below icon to create a new Job;
2) Click âSelect Filesâ to select program file, and it will auto give job name based on file name;

Note: if it does NOT identify the CAD/program format, please select the corresponding format
manually from the CAD/program Interface list. 3) Click âImportâ to parse selected program and popup window:

a. select one recipe of listed, If there is no recipe, please confirm the data sourse is right (VFA only
support program exported by job and recipe); b. ticked âadd prefix âskip_â for skip components: skip_xxx c. click âloadâ to parse program data
click âcloseâ when you see âEnd!â from message box. 5) Click âNextâ to save the inputted program data to the Job if graphic is correct.

Note: if the buttons is enbaled, it show with base job. if Bottuns is disabled, it show with panel job, you can right-click the single board name to âSwitch to Base Jobâ to edit, or export panel Flexa directly.

5.2. Gerber Import (Optional)
Note: Generally, Donât need to do this step. You can import Gerber layer for reference if needed. Flow chart: Gerber Import Menu: Process-> Gerber & XY-> Gerber Import Please refer details of Gerber Import from manual âVayo-Flexa Accelerator Quick Guide V3.4.pdf)
5.3. Mark Setting (Optional)
Note: Generally, Donât need to do this step. The program must contains fiducial marks, if you want to double check them, please click this step to validate marks as below: Flow chart: Mark Setting Menu: Graphical-> Mark & Origin-> Create Mark Shortcut Key: R

If there arenât any marks, please do âMark Settingâ step to set fiducial marks for SMT/Placement program. Please refer details of Mark Setting from manual âVayo-Flexa Accelerator Quick Guide V3.4.pdfâ
5.4. Part Data Editor (Optional)
Note: Generally, Donât need to do this step. You can double validate/re-assign part data if needed. Flow chart: Part Data Editor Menu: Process-> Part Data Editor

5.7. Generate Fuji Flexa Job
Flow chart step 9: Flexa Job to system Menu: Process-> Flexa Job to system Output the Job to Fuji Flexa directly Select Job group, and assign Job name and its version, and click âokâ

Note: please select options according to your needs.
Once the output is completed successfully, you shall see the Job in Fuji Flexa Director. Note: you might need to press shortcut key F5 to refresh the Job list in Flexa.

Output the Job to local disk:
If Accelerator is installed offline, then you can output a Flexa Job to your local disk and then copy and
input it to Flexa system.
