Central Natural Gas Furnaces

§95percentto96.9percentforthe$150rebate.

§97percentorgreaterforthe$250rebate.

•Onlyresidentialfurnacesinstalledinasmallcommercialsettingqualifyforthisrebate.Gotowww.ahrinet.org foralistofqualifyingproductsthatmeetorexceedtherequirementsinthetabletotheright.

•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialnaturalgasaccountwithPG&E.

Carefully read the specifications below to ensure that you are installing qualifying products. All PG&E incentives apply towards the purchase of new or replacement energy-efficient equipment. Used orrebuilt equipment is not eligible, and customers must include proof that the appliances meet all the required energy efficiency specifications. Please note that funding for these programs is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until allocated funds are exhausted or the program ends, whichever comes first. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice, and additional terms and conditions apply.

Package Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Package Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP)PTACs and PTHPs are through-the-wall, self-contained units and are generally 2 tons (24,000 Btu/h) or less.

Requirements:•MustmeettheapplicableminimumEnergyEfficiency

Ratio(EER)asstatedinthetablebelow.

•MustincludeaspecificationsheetthatindicatestheEERratingoftheproductinstalledwithyourapplication.

•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialelectricaccountwithPG&E.

Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for HVAC Fans

Requirements:•DrivesmustbeappliedtoexistingHVACsupplyor

returnairfansonly.

•Eligibleforarebateonlyifthrottlingdevices,suchasinletvanesorbypassdampersandthrottlingvalves,areremovedorpermanentlydisabled.

•InstallationaddressmusthaveacommercialelectricaccountwithPG&E.

Exclusions:•Fansizegreaterthan100horsepowerarenoteligible

forthisrebate.

•VFDsoncoolingtowerfansarenoteligibleforthisrebate.

Definitions AFUE—Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency: Measuresthepercentageoffuelthatisconvertedintousableheatingenergy.Forexample,a90percentAFUEfurnacemeansthat90percentofthefuelisusedinheatingyourfacility,while10percentescapesasexhaustwiththecombustiongases.

Btu/h:BritishThermalUnitsperHour.

CZ—Climate Zones: Climatezonesarebasedonenergyuse,temperature,weatherandotherfactors.Theyarebasicallyasetofgeographicareasthataregroupedaccordingtosimilarclimaticcharacteristics.

EER—Minimum Energy Efficiency Ratio:EERistheefficiencyoftheunit;itmeasuresthenumberofcoolingcapacityinBTUperwatthour.ThehighertheEERrating,thehighertheefficiencyoftheunit.

Ton: Atonistheunitofmeasurementthatisthecoolingcapacityofthesystemandis12,000Btu/h.
