Click “Verify” to determine if property is

eligible for coverage.

Underwriting

The first step in the EZ Flood quoting

process is the “Underwriting Information”

page.

This captures information specific to the

applicant and property, such as building

and contents replacement cost amounts

and mortgagee information.

Once the required fields have been

completed, EZ Flood eligibility is

determined.

If eligible, you may then progress to the

“Quote” page by clicking “Next-Quote”.

Quote

First, identify whether the insurance is required to support a loan closing transaction, then enter the desired

effective date.

Next, enter the requested coverage amounts for both the building and the contents.

Select a deductible amount.

Click the “Calculate” button to see the total premium, including all applicable taxes and fees.

Quote

Click “View/Print” to see a quote that can be shared with customers.

Click “Purchase” to complete the transaction.

Note: Once “Purchase” is selected, the quote is confirmed and may not be altered.

Choose the method for signing the application and other required forms.

Once completed, click “Next” to pay.

EZ Flood provides three payment options:

1. Credit card

2. Electronic check

3. Insured’s check

(i.e. Paper Check)

Select the preferred payment option.

Enter the required information.

Click “Apply Payment” to complete

the transaction.

Confirmation

Once payment is confirmed the policy number will appear.

The application will be sent to the Aon Edge Customer Service team for issuance.

Policy documents will then be generated and sent to all interested parties.

Alternatively, as an agent, you may submit the claim on behalf of your policyholder.

Initial steps

What information is needed to report a claim

Declaration page of the flood policy.

The date water entered the property and approximate water level.

Name of the mortgage lender, if any.

Current personal contact information for the policyholder. If a home phone is unavailable,

a mobile phone number or agent/friend/family member’s phone number will suffice.

Satisfies the federal rule effective July 1, 2019, requiring federally regulated lenders accept private

flood insurance that meet the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Act of 2012 definition of private flood

insurance

Coverage limits exceed those offered by the NFIP.

▪ Up to $750,000 building

▪ Up to $200,000 contents

Obtain a quote in less than one minute.

No elevation certificate or photographs required.

Not subject to federal surcharges or reserve fund assessments.

No waiting period if purchased at the time of a loan closing transaction.

Coverage is available in A and V flood zones with certain geographic limitations.

60 days prior to policy expiration, qualified EZ Flood policyholders will automatically receive a renewal

offering.

Designed for residential properties in lower-risk, non-mandatory flood zones.

Coverage limits exceed those offered by the NFIP PRP.

▪ Up to $300,000 building

▪ Up to $100,000 contents

Properties valued up to $1,000,000 of replacement cost are eligible.

Any coverage amount up to the program limits is available.

Catastrophic Ground Collapse Coverage (not available in Florida).

▪ Causes structural damage to the property resulting in the condemnation or an order requiring the

property to be vacated.

60 days prior to policy expiration, qualified EZ Flood policyholders will automatically receive a renewal
