Where to Eat

Indian Falls To commemorate the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg’s 125th anniversary in 2004, Indian Falls was designated as a Municipal Park. The park offers a picnic area, on-site privies, walking trails, rock beach and look off points.

Petite Riviere Vineyard French colonists planted the first vine in this area in the early 1600’s. In 1994, Petite Riviere Vineyards revived the tradition. Blue Rocks A small village about a six minute drive from Lunenburg. The little community of Blue Rocks is advertised as “Lunenburg’s answer to Peggy’s Cove”.

Tancook Islands Big Tancook and Little Tancook are 2 islands located 6 miles off the southern coast of Nova Scotia in Mahone Bay. These two islands are accessible by passenger ferry from the historic yachting community of Chester.
