A good presentation conclusion helps the audience remember the main ideas and intentions of the speaker. Here are some effective ways to end a presentation:

• Summarize main points briefly. Simplify them so that they are easy to remember. Avoid repeating everything word for word.

• Give a call to action encouraging the audience to do something, e.g. Let’s all support Unplug Day and enjoy quality time with family and friends without using technology.

• Use transitions such as In conclusion, To sum up, In closing, To conclude, Finally, As a result and Therefore to show that you are about to end your presentation.

• Finish with a creative and/or humorous punchline. Use anagrams, acronyms, jokes or quotes to leave a lasting impression.
