: : Since ancient times until today, significant cases showed that human behaviour was determined in their interaction with natural environments, social setting and built environments. Built environments can play a significant role since people spend most of their time in-house; therefore building structure and design has a substantial effect on their behaviour and well- being. Every single space needs to be designed with the appropriate elements in order to fit its users expectations and consequently to provide a sense of wellbeing and positive behavioural effectiveness. The design of the environment affects people either consciously or unconsciously and metamorphoses their mood and actions through light, colour, form and shape. This leads us to the fact that Environmental Psychology can play a significant role in shaping architecture and interior design in a variety of ways. Designers should consider these features and must carry out an attempt to provide an outcome of physically and mentally healthier place.
