MOBILE CRANE HIRE

We have a comprehensive fleet of Mobile Cranes (Rough Terrain, All Terrain & Truck Mounted) to suit your every need, with capacities up to 440 ton (some in association with local partnership).

Our cranes are serviced and maintained by highly skilled technicians to ensure minimal breakdowns, thus eliminating unnecessary downtime.

We also hire out articulated boom lifts (Electric/Battery Operated and Diesel) as well as forklifts up to 12 ton capacity.

At JMB Cranes safety is our main priority. All cranes are accredited and registered in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 DMR 18(11). Additionally all cranes are annually load tested and additional safety inspections are conducted by qualified Lifting Machinery Inspectors on a three monthly basis.

HEAVY LIFT PROJECTS JMB Cranes specializes in Heavy Lift Project Management, whereby we

conduct initial site inspections in order for us to ascertain site conditions as well as customer and lift requirements.

With extensive research and careful planning, we prepare comprehensive Lifting (Rigging ) Studies on Autocad, followed by preparing Lifting Procedures and Risk Assessments. Our attention to detail and constant communication with our clients ensures that all studies are done to the highest industry standards, ensuring safe and successful site installations, constantly supervised by our Qualified Riggers and Site Supervisors.

SAFETY POLICY

Company management, its staff and all sub-contractors are committed to a safe and healthy work environment at all work sites.

This is accomplished by ensuring that:

We comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act no. 85 of 1993), the Driven Machinery Regulations, Construction Regulations and all other relevant regulations which might be applicable for our tasks at hand.

We familiarize ourselves with the client safety specifications and that all our personnel comply with said specifications when on site.

All possible risks and hazards are identified and where possible to eliminate said risks and hazards.

All our personnel are informed and know of these possible risks and hazards and that our staff is protected against them if they cannot be eliminated.

All work and tasks performed is done with-in established written Safe Work Procedure, applicable method statement and/or risk assessment applicable to the task at hand.

Our policies, Safe Work Procedures, Method Statements and Risk Assessments are periodically reviewed to ensure that they are current and that all staff stay aware of possible changes.

All JMB Cranes personnel are trained and competent for the work they have to perform.

Ensure that all JMB Cranes personnel comply and abide by all company Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

We continuously strive for Occupational Health and Safety improvement.
