Jordan Middle School fi fth-grade students made their own Thanksgiving lunches last week. The meal included colonial stew, cornbread and apple pie. Each student was given a task to help complete the meal. Some chopped vegetables for the stew, while others made pies. The lunch is part of the students’ American history class.

Students named to honor roll

Two Jordan Middle School seventh-grade students were mistakenly left off the school’s honor roll. Anne Colling and Tayla Lambrecht were named to the “A” honor roll for the fi rst quarter.

Jordan grad named to

chancellor’s listMonica Snyder of Jordan

was named to the University of Minnesota in Crookston spring chancellor’s list. Sny-der is majoring in equine in-dustries management.

To be named to the chan-cellor’s list, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade-point average.

U offers Lehnen scholarship

Jordan High School gradu-ate Tatiana Lehnen was offered a $1,000 theater talent grant scholarship at Minnesota State University in Mankato for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Lehnen is the daughter of Kenneth and Jennifer Leh-nen of Jordan, and a 2005 JHS graduate.

The scholarship is awarded in the areas of acting, technical theater or dance.

The following is the lunch menu for the Jordan elementa-ry, middle and high schools:

Monday, Dec. 4: Chicken pat-ty on a bun, French fries, green beans, fruit, and milk

Tuesday, Dec. 5: Spaghet-ti with meat sauce, parmesan cheese, French bread, cole slaw, fruit, and milk

Wednesday, Dec. 6: French

toast sticks, a sausage patty, orange juice, fruit, and milk. Soups and sandwiches are available at the middle and high schools.

Thursday, Dec. 7: Italian dunkers, cheesy bread, vegeta-bles and dip, fruit, and milk

Friday, Dec. 8: Mexican piz-za, lettuce and dressing, fruit, a cookie, and milk
