you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the

church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth

shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be

done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the

midst of them."

Reflection: What's the best way to repair a damaged relationship? Jesus offers his disciples spiritual freedom and power

for restoring broken or injured relationships. If you feel you have been wronged by someone, Jesus says the

first step is to speak directly but privately to the individual who has done the harm. One of the worst things we

can do is brood over our grievance. This can poison our mind and heart and make it more difficult to go

directly to the person who caused the damage.

Prayer: "Lord Jesus, make me an instrument of your healing love and peace. Give me wisdom and courage to bring

your healing love and saving truth to those in need of healing and restoration."

Graduate Attribute: Concerned for the Marginalized The centrality of the commitment to the poor began with De La Salle and the first schools. He was convinced that the poor were the ones who needed schools the most and that those who themselves practiced a kind of Gospel poverty would run the most effective schools for the poor. It was thus, that De La Salle decided not only to teach the poor, but he himself became poor, sharing in their insecurity and dependence on God.

The schools De La Salle established were not exclusive for the poor. For in fact, those who were well-off were also welcome. The poor and rich were together, seated in the same classroom. Schools were tuition-free not only because the Gospel itself was free, but also because everyone thus became equally poor and equally rich. De La Salle refused to discriminate against students because of their socio-economic background. Of primary worth was each student of predominant value was an education without borders. Partiality was shown however. Those with less attractive qualities, with the least talents were especially supported and encouraged. This preference for marginalized and those with little opportunities for human and social advancement is necessary if the benefits of Christian education, if God’s saving love for all is to be made a reality. The Lasallian is called upon to be concerned for the marginalized not in the sense of condescending charity. He is called upon to dwell in the world of the poor and to allow that world to define his choices and actions. He must allow the poor to teach him what constitutes true happiness and real wealth. Thus, Lasallian education must equip youth with the knowledge and skill needed for the work towards a more just and equitable society.

Signs and Symptoms of Learning Disabilities and Disorders Learning disabilities look very different from one child to another. One child may struggle with reading and spelling, while another loves books but can’t understand Math. Still another child may have difficulty understanding what others are saying or communicating out loud. The problems are very different, but they are all learning disorders. It’s not always easy to identify learning disabilities. Because of the wide variations, there is no single symptom or profile that you can look to as proof of a problem. However, some warning signs are more common than others at different ages. If you’re aware of what they are, you’ll be able to catch a learning disorder early and quickly take steps to get your child help. The following checklist lists some common red flags for learning disorders. Remember that children who don’t have learning disabilities may still experience some of these difficulties at various times. The time for concern is when there is a consistent unevenness in your child’s ability to master certain skills. Preschool signs and symptoms of learning disabilities

A. Opening Ceremonies (August 17, 2015)

1. From 10:20 a.m./1:20 p.m. the escorts and their respective muses will proceed to the classrooms. Note: Muses who arrive early will proceed to Rm. 112 and guest

performers at CAC Hall. Call time for muses is at 9:30 a.m./ 12:30 p.m.

2. For Grades 9 to HS 4 - students who will fetch their muse/s should submit the letter of request signed by their parents/guardians on or before August 12.

3. At 10:30 a.m./1:30 p.m., SACB members will give the signal for the movement of classes to the gym following the sequence below:

7A – 7J - via ramp 8A – 8J - via ramp

9J – 9A - via gym spiral stairway 10J - 10A - via gym spiral stairway 3J – 3A - via 4th floor bridge way 4J – 4A - via 4th floor bridge way 3. Attire: Class shirts and denim pants.

Note: Rubber shoes for all. Sandals are not allowed. 4. During the ceremony, HS LRC staff and Coverage Club will be the

authorized personnel who will take pictures. For Grades 9 to HS 4, each class may be allowed to bring/use one camera for documentation purposes but they will only take pictures before and after the opening ceremony.

1. After the homeroom period, the class proceeds to their designated game venues. Everyone is expected to stay in the game area for the duration of the games to give support and to cheer for the class players.

2. With the supervision of the homeroom adviser, the sports moderator fields in the team members listed in the submitted official class line-up. Only those in the official line-up will be allowed to play.

3. No students should be seen loitering at the corridors. 4. All classrooms should be locked when the classes

are in the designated venues. 5. Students are reminded to be responsible for their

belongings. 6. Rules and regulations on the proper use of the gym

will be strictly enforced. 7. Attire: Class shirts, decent shorts and rubber shoes.

No slippers. No sandals. 8. For HS 3 students you may wear other T-shirts

on August 18 (Elimination Games Day 1) provided the designs are in accordance with the following guidelines:

a. No words/phrases that have anything to do with SEX, DRUGS, VIOLENCE or any illegal vices and with any relevance to it.

b. No indecent images.
