Repetition means that when you say something other repeat it at the same time, imitation means saying the same thing with the same accent, for example. If we learn by imitation we can’t recreate it with what we want, we would not process the language because we would not be conscious. There are parts of the sentences that are not grammatical and you learn them by memorizing. 2. Parents usually correct young children when they make grammatical errors.
