How to Perfect your Sleight of Hand

Start Slowly It is important that whenever you learn a new move you start slowly and let your hands get used to the moves it needs to perform.

Perform in a mirror Practising new moves in to a mirror is a great way of seeing the effect from the audiences perspective. You can then see any changes that need to be made.

Repeat, repeat, repeat To perform a move perfectly you must be able to do it without thinking. This means lots of hard work and practice.

Show a magician friend They will be able to tell you if you are revealing a secret of magic accidentally without you even realising it.

Refine All that is left is to practice as much as possible to allow the hands to perform the move easily. Also your patter will need to be refined at this step. Good luck
