§ Gottfrid Strömberg founded his electricalsupplies shop in 1889 in Helsinki

§ ABB was formed in January 1988 bymerging the Swedish Asea (who hadjust bought Strömberg’s electricalbusiness) and Switzerland's BrownBoveri electric system operations in a50:50 ownership basis
