SIM platform extends the capabilities of

simulators to mimic more complex cyber-

physical systems combining multiply machine

physics, intelligence and human cognition. It

has been active in several projects, such as

DigiPro (Digital Product Processes through

Physics Based Real-Time Simulation), funded

by Business Finland. DigiPro project had

collaboration with companies, such as Kone,

Mantsinen, Kesla, Valtra, Rocla, Norrhydro,

Mevea, Sandvik, and Raute. We are constantly

seeking industrial partners to guide continuous

development so that we can offer a solution

that is well-suited to fulfill your needs and

advance your goals!

SIM Platform in brief:

Ongoing, funded, development projects.

Develop techniques and toolsets needed in the areas of simulator-driven design.

Actively searching for partners.

SIM Platform Sustainable Product

Processes Through

Simulation

Unique method

Simulator-driven, physics based simu-

lation of complex mobile machines.

Real-time multibody simulation helps

to create complex models that inlcude

use of hydraulics, contact and tire mo-

dels, interaction with particle systems

etc.).

Provides monolithic as well as co-

simulation approach.

Utilizes design approach in which the

concept of gamification is combined

with a multibody dynamic system.

Customer oriented product develop-

ment approach.

System benefits

Digital-Twin models for product

testing and service business.

A test environment for new solutions

such as IoT and smart materials.

Improves product and production pro-

cess sustainability.

Promotes customer value with real-

time multibody simulation.

The offering

What do we offer?

A toolset that allows multiple stakeholders

to access machine research and develop-

ment through virtual worksites providing

fully configurable, real-time, virtual proto-

typing.

New processes and procedures to im-

prove design and manufacturing.

Provide community-based, real-time,

simulation to increase customer value.

Visibility and accessibility to multiple

sectors.

Extension of the simulator aided design

from a single machine to entire produc-

tion systems.
